From 1969-73, I.T.V. screened 'All Star Comedy Carnival', a bumper-fun packed extravaganza containing mini-episodes of hit sitcoms. This was the last one to be made, and is a must for anyone interested in 1970's I.T.V. comedy. Alongside 'Man About The House', 'Billy Liar', 'Sez Les', 'Doctor In Charge', there are less remembered shows such as 'My Good Woman' and 'Spring & Autumn'. Jimmy Tarbuck is the compere, aided by special guest-stars Val Doonican, Fyffe Robertson and the brilliant ventriloquist Neville King. If you are disillusioned with the quality of present day Xmas telly, get this and you're in for a treat.
